  • We plan to have a development release (2.23.2) very soon now. The most important changes are the Authentication code rewrite and the implementation of the Automatic Upgrade Notification feature (this feature should land very soon now, just before the release). The Authentication stuff requires special attention to avoid security holes and/or regressions in our next release later this year. Please play with it and report any bug you may find.
  • We need LDAP testers. If you use LDAP, help us testing it!
  • Now that the Authentication code has been rewritten and that we can use Bugzilla->params->{'foo'} instead of Bugzilla::Config::Param('foo'), we can go on with the removal of versioncache and globals.pl. There is a good hope that they will be removed on time, i.e. before the end of the month.
  • We will probably be late with the rewrite of Bug.pm though (the roadmap says "July" for it). If you want to see the Bugzilla 3.0 release on time, feel free to contribute.
  • You can now use Bugzilla::Object to write new objects more easily.
  • No improvements about charts are expected in the near future, due to a lack of developers working on them. All contributions are welcome though.
