mc2 crash rate: 1.13, crash incidence: 1.14%, mc1 summary score: 5.89 tuesday mc2 crash rate: 1.31, crash incidence: 1.06%, mc1 summary score: 14.86

[74.0]

  • crash pattern is very sane and shouldn't stand in the way of full rollout - nothing particular to call out
  • Crash in mozilla::VideoStreamFactory::CreateEncoderStreams somewhat increasing: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1521169
    • independent of version - perhaps more people are using webrtc to communicate because of the covid19 situation

Mobile Stability

Fennec

  • Crash rate is calculated based on usage hours (the time Firefox is actively used).
  • Usage hours will be significantly lower on Fennec than on desktop Firefox, so we can't compare mobile rates to desktop rates.
  • MC rates look typical for Beta (36.83) and Release (14.07)
