  • 83 shipped at tuesday at 25%, it is at 0% since Wednesday per our usual process, analysing feedback
  • 78.5.0 esr is at 100%
  • Fenix 83.1.0 is at 100%
  • Firefox Beta 84b2 at 50%, mac updates throttled until 84.0b3
  • Only two 84 beta builds coming next week due to Mozilla holiday

  • Preliminary testing is underway and it is due in the 25th Nov.
  • We have received an update from the ENG team that Printing Modernization is moved to Fx85
  • Our main concern 1676191 is still not fixed.
  • We are planning to cover OFF state in pre-release.

[cfogel] Concluded with macOS (Big Sur) 11.0 testing, few fairly new bugs that worth mentioning are: 

   issues with Youtube and fullscreen: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/buglist.cgi?quicksearch=1677244%201677266&list_id=15495862

   issues with printing: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/buglist.cgi?quicksearch=1676839%201676828&list_id=15495863

As an overall trend, Firefox was in a Good state from a QA standpoint; all major issues/crashes and UI/UX issues being dealt with and verified in time. [cbaica]

  • a complete test suite overhaul on the Address bar and Search cases - everything will be up-to-date and easier to use in future validation tasks
