Iteration 33.3 Performance Report

At the conclusion of Iteration 33.3:

  • Velocity Range:
    • Team achieved a median velocity of 191 points with a 90% likelihood the actual velocity will fall between 88 and 307 in Iteration 34.1.
    • Median velocity increased by 24 points from the previous iteration.
    • Minimum production capacity remained expanded to 88 points.
    • Maximum production capacity remained unchanged at 307 points.

  • Firefox Release 33 Production Results:
    • Team surpassed the production goal of 378 points and completed 867 points across the three iterations of the 33 release cycle .

  • Firefox Release 34 Production Goal:
    • 90% likelihood that 264 to 921 points of work, with a median value of 573, can be completed over the three iterations of the 34 release cycle.

  • Completed Work:
    • Team completed 325 points across 89 bugs.
      • Highest points completed achieved to date by the team.
    • Represents 60% of the work selected during the iteration.
    • Completed work increased by 90 points from the previous iteration.

  • Carry Over Work:
    • Team carried over 215 points across 47 bugs to Iteration 34.1.
    • Represents 40% of the work selected during the iteration.
      • Lowest percentage of carry over achieved to date by the team.
    • Carry over work decreased by 55 points from the previous iteration.
    • Of the 215 points of carry over work, 71 points (33%) are from resolved work awaiting QA verification and 144 points (67%) are from engineering/ux work still in production.
