Global Accessibility Awareness Day 2019

Our mission is to ensure the Internet is a global public resource, open and accessible to all. An Internet that truly puts people first, where individuals can shape their own experience and are empowered, safe and independent.www.mozilla.org/mission

Join us on Thursday, May 16 2019 and celebrate the eighth annual Global Accessibility Awareness Day. The purpose of GAAD is to get the design, development, usability, and related communities talking, thinking and learning about digital access/inclusion and people with different disabilities.

In honor of this day, Mozillians around the world are invited to participate in a set of activities to learn more about accessibility, to improve the accessibility of our products and services, to start conversations about accessibility with our colleagues, and to experience accessibility first hand.

There are many ways to participate in Global Accessibility Awareness Day. We've listed some of them here. If you are participating, be sure to tweet about it with the hashtag #gaad.
