Test cases:

  1. Using the browser matrix below, load:
    1. http://www.firefox.com
    2. http://www.getfirefox.com
    3. http://www.mozilla.com/firefox
    4. http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
  2. 50% of the time, you should get the control page, which is just http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
  3. The other 50% of the time, you should a custom page for each of the following browsers:
    1. Firefox 3.0.x (.5/.6?) -- this is the "Latest" page ("Have Firefox? Customize Now!") [drolnitzky - this should be anyone with a 3.X version, including versions before .5/.6).
    2. < Firefox 3.0.x (anything less than the above should trigger this one) -- this is the "Upgrade to the latest!" page [drolnitzky - this should be anyone with anything less than 3.0 -- in other words, 1-2.X inclusive]
    3. Safari, Chrome, (Flock?), etc. -- control page, again: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
    4. Internet Explorer (does not differentiate between 6,7,8, but assumes 7) -- "Firefox is better than IE, and here's why" page
  4. Verify against mockups (wireframes here; we really should post these to this wiki!)
    1. Also test that pages validate (W3C doctype checker)
    2. Check for broken links
    3. General layout
