Overview
Mozilla QA Bangladesh Community Meetup is an event hosted in Bangladesh supported and funded by Mozilla's Firefox Team to train Mozilla QA's Bangladesh community about deeper contribution ways in Mozilla by QA. This is a core event of the community, where contributors involved around one year or more with the community with various kind of contribution will be invited to become a part of community's journey in rest of 2017 and beyond!
This event will mainly focus on Contribution Ways for the direction, strategy and roadmap of the community. Different people from different background, status, University/working space based on gender diversity, regional representation will play their role in the meetup to achieve the goal as a community.
Goals
The goals of the Meetup are:
- Hands On Training from Mozilla Staff who are directly aware of the goals and can help to shape the activity of the community.
- More Collaboration and bonding inside the community.
- To Celebrate the activity that community did with a recreation filled weekend, with a goal to energize for rest of the year.
- Aligning our goals as community with QA/ Team's goal.
- Develop a strategy, direction and plan for the future of the community.
- Develop strong onboarding process for new contributors.
- Improve communication processes and tools, and transparency.
- Build strong recognition practices.
- Build a plan for increasing diversity and inclusive practice across the community.
Invitation/Selection Criteria
All the Invitation Has been sent. There was an open application for everyone, where they were asked to showcase their interest for the community meetup. According to the application and the commitment they showed, We shortlisted a very few number of people and asked them to provide a video on how they think to be a part of the community in 17 and how to make it more bigger. Based on the applications, their commitments in the videos and mostly their contribution over last one/two year, We invited a core group of people to join the meetup.

Venue Details
ROYAL TULIP SEA PEARL BEACH RESORT & SPA, COX'S BAZAR
The event will commence from 6.00 AM Saturday, May 13th and happen till Sunday 1.00 PM, May 14th in TBD at the ‘TBD’[1] You can locate the hotel here in maps[2]. Please plan to arrive in time for shuttle on Thursday. (Exceptions need to be approved)

Travel
People who lives in the city, For arriving in the shuttle in Thursday, Find two people nearby where you live and make a pair of three people and start towards Kalabagan Bus Stand. We shall reimburse for every 3 people's group towards Kalabagan Bus Stand. Any exception to that, will not be approved. Transportation to your pair of two people will also not be approved.
People who lives outside the city, For arriving in the City + Towards the shuttle in Thursday, We shall reimburse for all the transport and food in the way. ( Needs Approval on each cases )
All Exceptions will be reviewed and needs to be approved!
Pre/Post Accommodation: The invitees will get accommodation from Friday noon to Monday noon. [Exceptions will not be approved]
Participants who will be leaving on Monday should checkout on Monday morning.
Reimbursement:
All reimbursement will start one week after the event!

Details:
- Rooms are booked for everyone on sharing basis (Two people in one room).
- Note: If you would like to arrive earlier or stay extra days, you have to make your own booking arrangements.
- Check in time is 1500 hrs and check out time is 1200 hrs.
- Participants who are reaching early on Friday, Kindly take care of your lunch. WE will not reimburse that. You can contact your Point Of Contact for suggestion.
Participants can check in on Friday after noon. You will have to check out on Sunday evening or by Monday noon.
