  • Two interns from GNOME-OPW will be joining Desktop QA in mid-May for the summer, Maja Frydrychowicz(:maja_zf) and Francesca Cicieri (:madamezou) working on One and Done and bug triage/ test days (lizzard)
  •  :bitgeeky has been accepted into the Google Summer of Code program, to also work on One and Done (developer + testing)
  • FxOS intern: Johan 4/28, mentored by Jason (working on vertical homescreen, automation cleanup, and dashboard project for smoketests)

    • Tarakorun 2 complete: The Bugs: http://mzl.la/1mUURGA (all: 83)
    • Tarako smoketests still aren't green - 3blockers
    • Localization test run 1 active
    • Bug Bash - complete, bugs still coming in: http://goo.gl/kdX4g8
    • Exploratory testing on 1.3T starting.
    • Smoketests happening on Open C (1.4; Master); and Tarako (1.3T)

    • Devices:
      • Tarako - getting two extra machines up in MV for base builds this week.
      • Flame builds now available on pvtbuild server; you can use the gecko/gaia on the Open C as well.
        • note : please only flash gecko/gaia on top of the base builds for now for both Open C and Flame
    • Performance (geo)
      • Working with product team to zero in on final performance requirements for 1.3T and 1.4, as well as determine a workable strategy for publishing these early for future releases.

  • General
    • Preparation for puppetizing machines are mostly done. Waiting for some work from IT before we can get started hopefully next week
  • Projects
    • Mozmill
      • Still lots of disconnects during testruns which have to be investigated. Henrik will finish up the work on letting mozmill report details for application disconnects (bug 975068) - most likely all happen because Firefox doesn't restart as instructed (bug 974971)
    • TPS
      • Still working on the remaining TPS failures. Mostly intermittent ones, now between 1-3 failures
