Stage 1: Definition

1. Feature overview

Having more than one search bar needlessly confuses people.

We should merge the quick filter bar and gloda search bar into one that will filter the shown messages, and allow people to search globally.

2. Users & use cases

User: A new user. Use Case: They see two search bars, and don't know what the difference is, or which one to use to find their items.

User: An experienced user. Use Case: The extra search bar uses up valuable space that they would rather use for more buttons.

6. User experience design

There's a mockup at tumblr_m0iwtyy6nh1qkoea4o1_1280.png which I think we can use as a basis for the visual aspects of this work.
