    • Monthly Speaker Series: Computer Security In The Past, Present and Future, with Mikko Hypponen===
    • Location: Mozilla Mountain View + Air Mozilla + YouTube
    • Topic:

Computer security researcher Mikko Hypponen has been hunting hackers since 1991. Join us to hear his insights and stories on computer security history. Mikko will also tell us where we are today, and where we will be going in the future. But the real question is: how are we ever going to secure ten billion new devices that will be going online over the next decade?

Finland-based Mikko Hypponen is a well-respected, global security expert who once tracked down the authors of the 1st computer virus (Brain) that spawned the entire anti-virus industry. He has worked at F-Secure since 1991, and has written on his research for the New York Times, Wired and Scientific American.

He was selected among the 50 most important people on the web by the PC World magazine and was included in the FP Global 100 Thinkers list.

Speakers

The limit is 3 minutes per topic. It's like a lightning talk, but don't feel that you have to have slides in order to make a presentation. If you plan on showing a video, you need to contact the Air Mozilla team before the day of the meeting or you will be deferred to the next week. The meeting is streamed in a 4:3 format in order to allow for split screen. If your slides are 16:9 "widescreen" format, please indicate in the "Sharing" column below.
