Past Items Installed Firefox to 2 friends. One of them, usually an IE user, was very happy to see the Firefox logo - she found it familiar and friendly.

Discussed upgrading Firefox on my university library computers with the IT department. (It may get challenging.)

HTML5FEST 2011 - Ramat-Gan.

  • Gave two little talks about new BiDi features in HTML5.
  • Met Simon and Tomer from the local community.
  • Discussed standards, i18n and web fonts with a lot of people.

Preparing for MozCamp in Berlin. I proposed two talks about i18n and both were accepted.

Next Items MozCamp in Berlin. I proposed two talks about i18n and both were accepted.

Going to India, as part of my job in Wikimedia Foundation:

  • Wikimedia Conference India and Hackathon, Mumbai 18-20 November.
  • Meetings with Red Hat engineers and the Free Software community in Pune for the week after that, hackathon. Mostly about i18n for Indic languages and mobile support for Wikipedia, but other topics may be discussed.

Probably more discussions about upgrading Firefox in my university.
