  • mrz will add HA testing to the qa checklist (what happens when we lose a cable etc)
  • We need to triage add-on reviews. Ragavan and Justin to work on that.
    • Status: Don't have a plan yet.
  • We need a support plan. Ragavan and Tenser to work on that.
    • Status: Tenser and Ragavan met and are working on a plan for getting SUMO KBs in place.
  • Figure out if we can make string changes to the name for 1.3 or if we will need a 1.4.
    • Status: Done. We'll call 1.3 Firefox Sync.

      • Working on a modified testplan for uTest to follow during load testing week

Notes:

• mrz has added to the checklist, racking being done now, may be a day ahead.
• Matt is going to require some feedback his checklist, will send email out today.
• 1.3b1 was a first cut at addressing usability issues. More iterations to come on the first and last screens. Should be wrapped by end of this week.
• Had to do an early 1.3b2 (along with 1.2.2) to address trunk breakage.
• Plan is to release 1.3b3 by end of this week, with no blockers (feature, ui and string freeze)
• Client gut check feels like it's on track says mconnor.
• l10n is blocking on string freeze.
• Sync server is code complete for 1.3 launch. Migrations are done per user.
• memcache is in stage and will be load tested against production.
• quotas can be tested against stage.
• security reviews for sync server will start and have it done by next week.
• les needs some reviews on his registration patch, unsure how aravind's acl changes affect him.
• toby/les/clyon to sync up and will get a date.
• See updates above. Test day got 12 bugs, 3 already fixed.
• Thick client testing is not 1.3 blocker.
• uTest contracts are in legal review.

• Marketing plan is going to be slowly ramped up, so we can dial up/down based on feedback. Also expecting the iPhone client to help get users.
