Beta
- How do we look on graphics stability? Did we address signatures that are new since 32 beta? What steps do we need to get crash rate down?
- Graphics stability has improved over the past two betas. But we're still at 2+ crashes per 100 ADI. See below the bugs which may help us get back down under 2, if fixed.
- Startup crasher: bug 1036549 - Crash with onbeforeprint, onafterprint window.print() in JS_TransplantObject(JSContext*, JS::Handle<JSObject*>, JS::Handle<JSObject*>)
- Startup crasher: bug 1071003 - crash in mozilla::dom::XULDocument::ExecuteScript(nsIScriptContext*, JS::Handle<JSScript*>)
- bug 854176 - [Win7] crash in [CPrivAlloc::operator delete(void*)]
- bug 1066139 - crash in GetCurrentContext()
- Also, the various bugs associated with oom|small are now the cause of nearly 20% of all crashes on Fx33 betas.
- How are we on reviewing the beta-32-to-beta-33 comparison? Are we tracking all bugs that show significant regressions?
- Yes, the most significant issues are either fixed or tracked. oom|small is the biggest remaining issue, as I mentioned above, that shows a notable explosiveness between 3Fx2 betas and Fx33 betas
