  • get site to point that's good enough that we can point our high-level contacts toward

  • Once complete, can use as base messaging for localization

Launch plan

  • Want to go out to a broader audience than we have now. Won't get a lot more energy behind things until we get more people. To avoid chicken and egg problem we have now.
  • Want to get a few of the Cory Doctorow people and heavy hitter contacts before end of June. Before summer.
  • Feedback from board: if you have 50 or 100 or a thousand people gathered around three or four projects, than just a bunch of buzz and a bunch of noise on web site.
  • Small number of meaningful projects is not the roadblock. Having enough meat behind those projects is the issue.
  • Mark and Dharmishta will come up with post-launch launch plan

Drumbeat Events

  • Brasil: sending out save the dates for upcomoing Brasil event
  • Trying to build events kit to be driven by Brasil needs.
  • Rumblings of events in France
  • Henrik: looking to confirm location. End of June or early July.
  • Nathan: thinking about San Fran. U.S. events
