Drumbeat/p2pu/Assessment and Accreditation/Webcraft Assessments - detailed/Quality feedback
From MozillaWiki
Background
Quality feedback is essentially the same as Provide (negative) feedback constructively, Let people down gently, and others.
Here are some thoughts from the Mozilla community that reflect the importance of this skill:
- It can be incorporated into the commenting / forum environment in a similar way to "answers questions well" and can exist on a profile page.
- It's a vital skill for operating in the P2PU community (and can be implemented across P2PU rather than just webcraft).
- As we move towards more and more community-based assessment of both technical and soft skills, there will need to be both positive and negative feedback from participants. The quality of feedback should be improved as much as possible.
- It's a skill that people can easily improve upon, but one which often needs to be (constructively) pointed out to them before they can begin that change.
