Carlo Jan 5: What i find a little difficult in alignments is the main menu. It has definitely to be up there but still I disturbs me a bit with the alignment with mozilla wordmark. It could just be me, but I think we should go for another solution hwere... It feels like it's melting without be any evident... It could just be a matter of coloring or positioning but i could also be wrong.
Gina: move people to left, to make it: "people, projects, events"
- secondary nav is getting lost a bit -- hard to see
- used to tuning out that space
Mark: better, but not done - have to accept that we're trying to do too much - need to prioritize what stuff has to happen there and get rid of the rest - first nomination for removal: search box - put yourself in feet of user: use local search, instead of finding stuff on google - a lot of screen real estate for something rarely used - "about / blog / resources" -- fairly weak - about could be moved to footer - could put blog in footer - could move all secondary nav to footer - donate is the only one that has to be a "sore thumb"

Here, I think we all agree. The navigation doesn't work. As matthew suggested first of all and I tried to show, patching the original png uploaded to the wiki (sorry Ned to have patched it, but I didn't have the psd so...), is to add a service bar right on top of the page. In this way, even though I didn't have the meta font, we can achieve to have to clear and different menus that bring the user the possibility to browse into a primary menu which includes the "about, blog, resources, contact", the possibility to login and signup (top right) - i removed the input because top right with input and submit buttons is the standard position for site search, and it was a bit misleading.
I left the three main areas in green there, but I re-aligned them a bit. I think it works a bit better now.
