Online Community

Hosted jointly by Mozilla and Creative Commons, the Learning in the Open online community site would offer:

• a place to advertise and organize local courses
• mailing lists or other forums for local organizers to meet and support each other
• a library of slide decks, videos, and readings that could be used for local courses
• other information resources useful for organizing local courses (e.g., lists of suitable venues, tips on course logistics, etc.)
• access to one or more paid support people to help local organizers

The community site would also be used for planning and evolving future Learning in the Open offerings, to be developed in coordination with and with feedback from local organizers.
