Firefox OS App Days (completed)

What's next: Phase II: With support from Community Engagement, the awesome Mozilla Reps organization now offers App Days in a Box for communities around the world. All future App Day proposals and requests will go through ReMo (Mozilla Reps).

What: NOTE: This program is over. A series of App Days celebrating Firefox OS will take place in more than 20 locations around the world. Most of these App Day events will take place on Saturday, January 26, 2013, with a few exceptions.

This program is designed and organized by Mozilla's Engagement team in collaboration with the ReMo (the Mozilla Reps program) and the Mozilla community.

Our Goals

• Educate and inspire developers to work on HTML5 apps and submit them to the Firefox Marketplace
• Amplify and inspire grassroots developer momentum worldwide
• Create opportunities for local developers to showcase their apps
• Raise awareness of Firefox OS and the developer ecosystem
