What will your session or activity allow people to make, learn or do?

Design a graphic (Olympic rings) using html! At an easy understandable level, you can create whatever you want, but we'll start with the basics creating graphics and text.

Once we have our 5 olympic rings, we can customize them with different colors and sizes. As well as add creative text to make it their own.

How do you see that working?

We'll start by giving an intro to javascript! Using khan and html with thimble, they will be able to produce an amazing graphic including text using javascript and html.

How will you deal with 5, 15, 50 participants?

Split into teams with creative challenges.

30-45 minutes

What do you see as outcomes after the festival?

Lots of great designs to show on khan academy.org. Spark an interest in kids that there is more to the web than what they see!
