Schedule Update
- FF20b1 for desktop released Friday, FF20b1 for mobile released yesterday with important update fixes
- FF21.0a2 unthrottled last Friday (l10n win32 on saturday -- oops!)
- ESR10->17 updates unthrottled yesterday
- A FF19.0.1 re-spin to resolve critical issues is NOT expected for mobile
- A FF19.0.1 desktop re-spin is expected today for bug 830531, unless other drivers are found
- Just found out this morning bsmedberg would like to get "623462 – add environment variable to make breakpad write a fuller minidump, and not submit" into the build
- Once spun up, we'll need positive verification that the re-spin prevents the issue
- If there are no other drivers, we can unthrottle FF19.0 for non-Win8 as soon as possible
- FF20b2 expected to go to build today, released before the end of the week
Add-ons
- https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=843373 CTP enabled for all current versions of Java 6 and 7. Firefox 17 and above.
- https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=807258 CTP blocks extended for old versions of the 10.3 branch of the Flash plugin (up to 10.3.183.42). Firefox 20 and above.
Stability
Aurora
- https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=837370 (js::types::TypeCompartment::addPendingRecompile) is now #2 on 21.0a2
- ashughes : added qawanted,steps-wanted on this to see is we can reproduce the crash
Beta
- Nothing really big so far.
- https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=787158 (nsHttpConnection::OnSocketWritable) is high again, maybe another Facebook SPDY trial going on. We should fix this bug before they do this permanently.
- https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=844580 (js::ObjectImpl::nativeLookup) is a new JS signature, could be just another funnel of JIT crashes though.
Release
- https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=830531 (Radeon/Win8 crash) remains the largest issue by far, making 19.0 crash rates look really bad.
- https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=806071 (Radeon/Win7) is rising, now #6
- https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=806786 (dual-Intel/NVidia crash) is #14, but 4 signatures ahead of it are from 830531.
Mobile
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=844592 - landed yesterday on central, it's an aurora bug. Need time to bake then pushed to aurora.
- bug 752828 and bug 791958 are the top 2 crashers in release (bugs are being worked on)
- bug 827171 needs monitoring to see if it got fixed from another bug (beta/aurora top crasher)

- Paul (SV) was unable to get add-on working in overnight testing -- "didn't get any notifications on amazon, ebay, sportsdirect and on several other sites resulted from a "shop online coupons" google search"

- [juanb] #foxyproxy devs still investigating. I provided all the info from one user.
