• Still dominated by e10s, and by finally-fixed bug 1067311.

Aurora

• Still bug 1064107 is the main issue.

Beta

• Crash rates improved in b5, but not to the levels we need to feel good for release.
  • The large GFX crash regressions have successfully been fixed (thanks GFX team)
  • OOM|small is up ~50%, now almost 20% of overall crashes
    • bug 1053934 landed for b6 but will fix only a small part of those
  • bug 1071702 AddonsManager shutdown is large part of 6% AsyncShutdown crashes
  • There's a few further crashes in the 1-2% range that we could work on
    • bug 854176, bug 1066139, bug 1071003
    • bug 1053999 is not new but would help in that range if investigations find anything
    • bug 1033066 is higher on release so would help overall for release
  • bsmedberg might be looking into another 32/33 beta comparison to get more data
  • In general, we are at ~1.5 crashes per 100 ADI and 32 RC (beta channel) was at 1.2

Release

• Release crash rates have improved significantly since we released 32, almost back to pre-29

Mobile

• bug 1028802 is still the main concern on beta, bug 1067018 has progress in understanding the issue but not on a fix yet.
• bug 1069369 is >50% of Nightly crashes.

Roundtable

• Chemspill update (lmandel)
• OMTC: High crash rate
• Options:
  • Use beta 7 (or the chemspill) to give it a try and disable OMTC to have some numbers.
    • We need a patch
  • Disable on aurora only and see what happens
  • Ship with the new crashes and deal with it later
  • We continue with OMTC with the hope that the GFX team (currently in a work week in Toronto) find the last fixes.
  • Do we have a chance to improve the OOM|small situation?
