Schedule Update

Nightly

  • No news, some fixes landed that should bring crash rates down, e10s still major topic outside of those.

Aurora

  • As before, bug 1064107 continues to be the major issue (13% of crashes, some downward trend, probably people with this startup crash leaving Aurora)

Beta

  • OMTC off causes rendering issues, GFX team/Bas finds it better to keep it on and instead try to land/uplift as many stability fixes as possible to bring overall volume down.
  • The AsyncShutdown bug 1057312 that is 5-6% of our crashes might just be experiments again/still
  • We have 12 tracking+ crash bugs, if the majority of those can get fixed, we'd be quite satisfied.

Release

  • No news, overall rates remain pretty good.

Mobile

  • Bug 1028802 is still the big issue on Beta (20% of all crashes), bug 1067018 has more info and fix attempts
  • Bug 1069369 continues to have >50% of Nightly crashes, some discussion and speculative fixes in other bugs

Performance (Thu)

  • jmaher has temporary meeting conflict today, will not be online

Aurora

  • no data

Beta

  • Fix bug 1011166 landed (Very large gradients fail to render when using pixman)
    • testing retrigger script to get regressions detected automatically

Desktop: Snippet surveys have been pushed back due to the release schedule. We started collecting results today and will have a report by mid next week. Other than that things are smooth in Desktop/Mobile

  • Go to build of 33 beta 8 (Desktop & Mobile) tonight? At least 12 new changeset
  • OMTC
    • Keep in mind if we do beta 8, we will do a beta 10
