Namoroka
- toolkit is string frozen
- can't set a beta date until there's fewer than the 100 existing blocker nominations
- right now we're potentially drifting into November for a final release due to this lack of focus on blocker triage
Fennec 1.0x
- string freeze has moved out to Friday, September 11th
- no update on schedule beyond that
Support
- List of common issue bugs
- Wrote 20 articles about crashes in last week's KB sprint. Major major thanks to Jesse!
Product Development
as always, you can read the development meeting notes as well, but here are the big items:
- falling behind on triage which is making it hard to get a beta schedule nailed down
- there is a known problem on OSX which is resulting in there being no way to run Java applications in the browser; Josh is looking into a fix
Localization
- Fennec string freeze not coming along nicely
- bookmarks, certificate error page (new this week), one more
- new plan is to freeze friday
- schedule from then up tbd
- deb builds need to match install experience (tbd)
- search guidelines for fennec should be set in stone any minute
- would like to wait on new about:rights language until after 3.6
