Product Development
as always, you can read the development meeting notes as well, but here are the big items:
- OJI was re-enabled on Firefox 3.6 (for Java on OSX)
- Aero Peek tab previews enabled on mozilla1.9.2 (Windows 7)
- development teams moving on to Firefox 3.6 blockers and work targeted at Firefox 3.7
- some security reviews are still pending
- lots of progress on Ts, some of it can be back-ported to mozilla1.9.2
- lots of talk about being more aggressive about backing out patches which cause performance or functionality regressions
Localization
- Firefox 3.6 Beta 1 with 53 locales
- Two bugs with further string changes on my radar. If you have bugs that should be on there, make sure they're blocking-firefox3.6 or blocking1.9.2 and have the late-l10n keyword set.
- When to do outreach for RC? 3-level outreach, news, group-mail, individual. Moved to a reply to the meeting announcement in .planning.
- How do we update from 3.5 to 3.6? Need to open a thread in .planning.
