Testing
- Alice's tests showing up on MozillaTest tinderbox; showing massive perf difference in some cases between 1.9 and 1.8 branch but we need to figure out what the details of those particular tests are
Any other business
- Are people dogfooding nightlies (on Mac)? Seth Spitzer and I have been looking at a software update bug (373908, fixes underway), which appears to have completely b0rked updates since ~ 3/12... Only 3 people have reported the problem (one just yesterday). -- Dolske [Technically not a Gecko issue, but in previous meetings we've talked about having testing coverage due to the number of alpha/nightly users.]
- Gecko developers should be using nightly builds
- Can QA do morning dogfood tests?
- Do we want to do the tree closure?
- schrep will explore if we can do tree closure/smoketests in the morning so that people have confidence in using nightly builds as their daily browser
- There is a feeling now that "people can break nightlies"; that needs to change before people can feel comfortable in using the nightlies.
- wiki page PRD/feature lists/etc. need to be consolidated and linked to a single master document
