Firefox:3.0 Accessibility
Do something like the gesture command of Opera, when you push the right mouse button and make a specific movement to issue a command. I use the close window gesture intensivly. I think that is the fastest of all ways to issue a commands.

Nice feature would be to implement a full page zoom, including images. And/Or to have browser optionally store this setting per-page, per-site, or globally.
I have poor eyesight and would like to see Firefox 3 give a user the ability to change the font-size in the address-bar and bookmarks. It is not much fun squinting at a tiny-sized URL in the address-bar, and that goes for bookmarks too.
You can change font-size almost everywhere else in Firefox, but these two areas have been left out (for whatever reason). Maybe also let the user change the typeface (e.g. Arial, Times New Roman,etc) too, but font-size is more important, imo. This would be *very* useful.
After playing around with 3 Beta 2, I think the zoom function needs an indicator in the status bar to show the current percent and/or zoom level. Also, a pair of zoom in and out buttons down there, or dock-able ones would really help.
to satisfy both newbies and geeks : make 3 different interfaces available (maybe 2) : One, clear, for newbies who only want to surf, one other for accustomed users, and one last for advanced user, with many option and/or shortcuts everywhere. I tried this on an older program when I was beginning, and, amha, it enhance learning of the software.
Tab Strip
It would be good if the user can see all the favorites of one folder in a strip with a previsualization. This previsualization is updated each time that you visit the page. This previsualization strip will be used with a shift bar to move a small tabselect-window all over these favorites (over the strip). This window will select or highlight only the links/webs that we want to have opened in firefox. That it is to say, when you move the window over the favorite strip one position to the left, one new favorite will be openened and the favorite that is most to the right will be close. The maximum size or width of this window must be configurable, for example 7 tabs. This will save a lot of memory usage in firefox and will let you see all your favorite webs (for example 40) without problem because you will have only 7 web pages opened simultaneously. If this width is reduced from 7 to only 1 what we have is a powerpoint slice "WEB" presentation!!!
I hope this is the right place for suggesting improvements to be implemented in Firefox 3 (if not point me towards it, please).
I want to mention that, when I have "Search for text when I start typing" turned on, the find box isn't very helpful when compared to the [F3]/[Ctrl]+[F] equivalent. I know that one can change this with CSS, but there should be no need to. For consistency and convenience this should be changed.
