Sprints: http://scrumbu.gs/p/fxos-perf/
Updates:
Eli is working on an initiative to have more meaningful events for measuring the startup of applications, being tracked on https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=996038
Work is nearing completion for the Settings app, moving on to the Dialer this week
Will be communicating with app module owners about incorporating these events into their apps for standardized startup measurement, these changes will be required for 2.0
Huseby is now point person for all gaia tooling requirements. Paul Rouget is heading up the App Manager 2.0 effort and Huseby and Paul are meeting regularly to make sure the new tools will meet the requirements of Gaia developers (as well as other stakeholders)
Need to gather memory reporting requirements ASAP. Requirements doc will be mailed out shortly for feedback.
Jonathan Bailey (perf intern) is tacking on boot sequence optimization. (So NOT any gaia stuff as previously mentioned as an option for his summer project).
BackoutBot - https://github.com/changm/BackoutBot - Tests startup performance on every gaia checkin. Running for settings, email FTU, contacts, dialer, Camera. Need more devices to scale the other apps.
