Gaia Architecture Work

  • Telemetry library: Remaining Work for 2.5:
    • Custom metrics for 2.5. If app developers would like to try out custom metrics for 2.5, they can look at this file: /shared/js/advanced_telemetry_helper.js. Essentially, the basic instructions for using the custom metrics are in this file. Feedbacks welcome.
    • 1177099 -- Payload Compression -- r- needs some tests work
    • 1171685 -- FTU Ping IMEI hash -- f+ - Mostly nits left
    • 1181295 -- FTE changes to support 3-way radio - f+ - UX seems to be finalized.
    • 1208205 -- Settings changes to support 3-way radio - not started. UX finalized y'day
    • 1198338 -- B2gdroid support for imei. -- not started
  • Web app bridge
  • Service workers
    • Adding support for push notifications (working on nightly but not b2g)
  • SMS app conversion

    • No new updates, we are in bug fixing and landing all separate views in branch nga
