These are the features mainly driven by the Taipei teams, in co-optations with other teams in Taipei and around the world. We are not meant to take all the credit :)

3rd-party keyboards framework

  • First stage landed, backed out because it breaks B2G/Desktop
    • Keyboard management in system app & settings
  • API: (need some update here)
  • OOP: partly landed, partly in review.
  • Next:
    • Installation/uninstallation
    • Notification keyboard switch

Simplified Chinese IME

  • Modularization in review.
    • note: please take care of Windows
  • To do: build unit test system for build script, node + Firefox extension.

Window management upgrade

  • no update. was working on leo+ bugs.
  • To do this week:
    • orientation handling, getUserMedia permission dialog for v1.2
    • window disposition switch back.
