As of 2nd March 2020, Mozilla has moved away from IRC to Matrix for its public channels and the IRC server was shut down.
This page was created to help those new to IRC. We will continue to add helpful links and info here for those ready to join the rest of the Mozilla Community on IRC.

- ChatZilla (Firefox extension) - Note: If you are using ChatZilla you must also close ChatZilla for Firefox to fully restart. Workaround is to run Chatzilla on XULRunner (Windows installer) or run a version of Mozilla Suite and use the built in ChatZilla program from there - that way you are always online when you have to restart.
