Main Threads

[LH] train-2012.06.08 will slip by at least a week. We need to come to agreement on our approach, prod-ops weigh in is required, jbonacci is on board with either a delay or a derailment - see email to identity-staff@ "Re: BrowserID train 2012.06.08 deploy to production delayed by +7 days" CONSENSUS around dropping this train but otherwise following the process as is. Lloyd has final call.

Dev

[Fr] still working towards a complete keywrapping demo (almost done!) [LH] New URLs implemented in dev env - https://github.com/mozilla/browserid/issues/1741 [LH] Final observer API should be stable in train-2012.06.22 with the resolution of IE8 issues. [ST] RP Name/Logo & Post Verification Redirect MERGED. [ST] TOS/PP, BigTent, /about page all on ice until dev opens again. [DC] BigTent is nearing stage deployment! Blockers: Cert Chaining (GH-34), Load Testing (GH-11), API Keys (#765002). Also need legal review of ToS / PP for APIs we use (#742818) [ZC] new process for serving static files, waiting on router to settle down [NM] prototype of KPI dashboard, got feedback from Crystal, working on next.

Ops

  • not going to ship current train; rolling it into the next train/deploy
  • productionization of router (metrics, alerting, ops-side documentation)
  • bigtent staging cluster should be live this week
  • working on new URL load balancer setup/scripting

  • There are discussions about delaying/derailing current train due to changes for router in Stage (and ultimately in Prod).

  • QA backs OPs decision for more time on router work, and the necessary continued testing in Stage and Prod for router support
