The Mozilla Ignite Challenge

Mozilla and the National Science Foundation (NSF) are partnering on an open innovation challenge to build apps for public benefit on next-generation networks like the US Ignite/GENI testbed.

We're offering funding, mentorship & support, and access to the GENI network sandbox to help developers build apps to change the world.

Check out the 1 min. video on the About page for a quick explanation: MozillaIgnite.org/About

Community calls

Every Tuesday at 11 AM PT / 2 PM ET (-8 UTC), the Ignite team hosts an open community call to discuss ongoing work that teams are doing, give feedback to folks on their ideas/projects, and discuss other opportunities around gigabit apps.

We'd love to have you, so please join us! First-timers are completely welcome. :)
