How to join this l10n team

To help localize Mozilla products and websites into Romanian:

  1. Create a Pontoon account to submit translation suggestions.
  2. Make 1-2 suggestions to get a feel of the Pontoon interface and to be counted as a Romanian contributor. The project mozilla.org is best suited for beginner contributions, but you can pick any you like.
  3. Read the style guide and have a look at the terminology
  4. Learn to use Transvision, a web-based translation memory, to make sure translations are consistent with the existing translations.
  5. After you've submitted a few translation suggestions and you verified their consistency with Transvision, e-mail the following team members to get feedback for your contributions:
    1. Jobava at jobava[AT]mozilla.ro
    2. Ioana Chiorean at ioana[DOT]chiorean[AT]gmail[DOT]com
    3. Cristian Silaghi at cristian[DOT]silaghi[AT]mozilla[DOT]ro.
  6. Introduce yourself to the Mozilla Romania community by emailing the mailing list.
  7. If you find bugs in the existing translation, please file a bug here.
