Notes
- Ubiquity 0.5.2
- Jono will be championing this release
- brandon thinks we should aim to release this by the end of next week
- Included in 0.5.2, we'd like to see:
- spanish localization (done)
- suggestion memory (possibly done)
- parser completion fix (done)
- improved context menu support (in progress by brandon)
- improved nountype scoring (in progress by mitcho)
- read about the approach: http://mitcho.com/blog/projects/judging-noun-types/
- plugin-provider-argument feature?
- making the chrome (about) pages localizable (in progress by lech, may not be done in time) - will break all scripts (possibly) requiring rewrites.
- Fix/improve problem with keystrokes getting lost (http://ubiquity.mozilla.com/trac/ticket/741 ?) and/or the enter execution being lost (http://ubiquity.mozilla.com/trac/ticket/838).
- Command migration to Parser 2 format
- 10 of 25 commands have been migrated!
- What's the status on the ones that haven't been migrated yet? Have they been contacted, are they in the process of migrating, are they not responding, etc.
- Herd
- Updates?
- Need UI (should it match the look + changes in the about: pages?)
- Updates?
- Ubiquity Settings
- Moving settings into native preference pane?
- mitcho thinks making Ubiquity more Firefoxy (vs. webby?) is a Good Thing, including moving the preferences out of something that looks and feels like a website.
- Maybe there are other options, like XUL, but not in the Preferences?
- This should be an ongoing discussion involving Aza, Atul, Jono et al.
- Miscellaneous
- Buildbot working again
- Fix tests so we don't keep getting buildbot emails
- satyr investigating discontinuous verb matches à la http://github.com/rmm5t/liquidmetal/tree/master
