Hello Julie,

Thank you so much for the quick reply! In regards to the first point, what constitutes a "signature" in this situation? I work in the illustration field, so the first thing that comes to mind is an image of my signature in a jpeg or tiff format, but I'd like to be certain.

In regards to the second point, I thought perhaps the email as a whole worked as a statement, but to be clear:

"I, Justin Ben McSweeney, believe in good faith that the illustration used in the Mozilla Persona referred to as "Zombies and Guns" and seen on the webpage http://www.getpersonas.com/en-US/persona/140182 , constitutes an infringement upon the distribution and licensing rights of myself and Humoring the Fates, Inc. All information provided thus far is accurate to the best of my knowledge, and I am both an owner and authorized representative of the copyright in question".

I appreciate all your help in this matter. I know that this is a common problem with user-generated content, and I'm grateful that you've responded so effectively. Let me know what I should turn in as a proper signature, and I'll be happy to do so as quickly as possible.

http://www.getpersonas.com/en-US/persona/140182, titled "Zombies with Guns", was originally illustrated by myself and licensed exclusively to Humoring the Fates, Inc. The user "Philipsi83" has no rights to the artwork, and is not entitled to grant the Creative Commons license as seen on the page in question.

The version which he has uploaded (with my signature removed) can be seen originally at http://inkthinker.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d1uxicx.
