• Rules:
  • Monthly challenges will focus on either:
    • 1 theme with multiple features (mobile demos with touch and orientation)
    • 1 technology/feature (CSS animations)
  • Demos must be submitted before the end of each month to be considered.
  • Any past demos are
• Judges:
  • Combination of "HTML5 experts" and Mozilla folks (not everyone will vote every month)
  • Panel will be selected for each month's challenge based on theme/technology
• Voting:
  • Mozilla will determine 3 - 5 finalists for each month
  • Panel will vote on criteria (TBD) and pick the winner
• Prizes:
  • TBD, but most likely an android device, laptop, etc each month

Risks

• Design needs to be completed by mid-May
  • Dev Derby was completed a bit later on 5/19
  • Demo Studio was reset and scheduled for 0.9.6
• Tight deadline to launch Dev Derby by June 1
  • Moved Dev Derby to 6/7 release target due to design and copy delays
