- Summarised current thinking, context and background around 2013 Strategic Planning for Firefox for Android
- Goals:
- Increase market share
- Improve Web Compat
- Strategy to achieve these goals:
- Distribution opportunities (benchmarketing, customisation, other requirements TBD)
- Supporting the ecosystem
- Focused consumer-driven wins (privacy, WebRTC, search improvements)
- Ran through slide deck of roadmap
- Key Notes / Actions
- Include growth projections for organic growth and show as percentage of the growth needed to break out of the 'other' mobile browser category
- Need specific steps for supporting distribution opportunities (AI Crandon, Slater, Karen, ...)
- Style guide needed to control the amount of customisation we would allow
- All customised assets on default should be editable (changeable) by the user
- Need good MWC demo planning
