Mozilla.org/Redesign/Openness

One of the prerequisites for the design process of mozilla.org is having as open and transparent a process as possible. What that means is a few things.

  • First, when choosing a design firm, we made it very clear that potential designs would be blogged about publicly and a call for feedback would be made. We'll use that feedback and roll it up to return to the design firm before we do a second round of drafts.
  • Second, we will be blogging about the process as frequently as possible and make them as detailed as possible.
  • Third, direct contact with the design firm will be handled by members of the mozilla.org module (currently David Boswell and Samuel Sidler are direct contacts).
