Last Weeks Action Items

  • [ON TRACK] [Andrei] file a bug to have 3 new machines for OSX 10.10 (yosemite) and discuss with releng or qa about the 10.7 (10.8) nodes if there is further testing necessary on them;
    • Sent a mail asking qa (Anthony, Juan or Tracy) about continuing support for 10.7 and 10.8, if we can drop these, we might be able to repurpose these machines for 10.10
    • No need to file a bug just yet for IT until we have confirmation that we need 4 new machines
  • [DONE] [Cosmin] check the next locales batches to add them to Beta (batch 1-3 have already been merged) #277
  • [CARRY OVER] [Henrik] Change the meeting template to have major items for the upcoming week ("Upcoming" for each project / goal)
  • [CARRY OVER] [Henrik] get in contact with ?jeets? to get a treeherder API key (or similar) to try pushing our results to treeherder

Puppet for restarting CI Machines (Andrei, Henrik, Andreea)

  • Current Status:
    • No updates

Mozmill-CI for testing all Locales (Andreea, Cosmin)

  • Current Status:
    • Batch 4, has been merged and everything ran fine, batch 5 has been tested but not merged yet. We had to increase the number of archived logs. As next step we will check how long it takes for a platform to ran all builds.

Mozmill for Restart Stability (Henrik, Andrei)

  • Current Status:
    • [Henrik] landed bug 975068 - Show more descriptive error when Firefox doesn't restart as requested and jsbridge cannot connect
      • This should give us more information in case of JSbridge disconnect failures
      • [Andrei] will try reproducing some of the ongoing issues we have to see if we can narrow down the cause

  • Closed bugs:
    • regression has been fixed in firefox, unskipped: bug 1051777 - Multiple test failures in relation to the AwesomeBar
    • bug 816084 - Add new IdentityPopup class in toolbars.js
    • bug 1036825 - Refactor tabs opening methods from tabs.js

TPS (Henrik)

  • We added the OSX node to the CI, so we ran TPS testruns on mac too. coversheet issue 47
  • bug 1052312 Addons related TPS tests are failing with "Error: AddonRepository search failed" - has been fixed
