Core Responsibilities

  • Setting up the overall test plan
  • Ensuring iteration developed bugs are tagged and tested in a timely manner
  • Ensuring unassigned feature work gets assigned
  • Ensuring critical bugs are assigned, investigated, and remain on-track
  • Escalating critical issues to Engineering and/or Release Management when needed
  • Ensuring all key metrics (bugs, features, etc) are signed off before uplift or release
  • Attending meetings, effectively communicating status, and raising quality concerns/blockers
