Meeting Details

Please see our public calendar for all upcoming events and meetings.

Our regular team meeting occurs every Thursday @ 9am Pacific

Action Items / Takeaways from Last Week

  • Takeaways:
  • Action Items:
    • Zac will update the documentation for mozwebqa-test-templates to point to pytest-mozwebqa 1.0
    • Stephen to follow-up with Bob on what to do about community-related goals (since we're supposed to be limited to 3 or so)

Discussion Items / Updates

  • How are we doing with investigating performance testing/tools/metrics we need to measure?
    • Two people to talk to, regarding Mozilla Marketplace SLA, now: Mark Mayo + Jake Maul
  • Work week update:
    • Stephen will be getting back to Ashley on logistics (wiki page, who's travelling, etc.), and we'll get this thing going
  • Input update (it's below, too)
    • James Socol's team will be rewriting it -- we're not committed to helping; it's supposed to be ready for Firefox OS launch
      • We can probably safely remove the jobs in Jenkins, and Dave suggested/asked if we could close the tests repo to new pulls (probably)
  • Seeing Grid issues (blank windows/hanged Firefox builds) again
    • Adi and I tried to isolate it last night; some more notes:
      • Still appears to be largely a Mac issue, but perhaps that could be the suites that run on Mac (Affiliates/Socorro/Marketplace)
      • I don't think it's *only* Socorro that causes/is affected by this, for the record, but it'd be nice to eliminate it
      • Last night, we ran Socorro jobs concurrently (dev/stage/prod), and it looked liked either py.test or Grid wasn't communicating that the jobs were finished
    • This needs more investigation
      • I'm suggesting perhaps running Mac jobs with py.test in debug/instrumented mode (it has that, right?)
  • Moztrap has been migrated to Webdriver and is passing on Jenkins - thanks to Rbillings, Bebe and even klrmn chipped in with a couple of commits at the end!
  • Can we drop Selenium RC support from moz-grid-config?? :)
  • Softvision team has received mobile devices:
    • 3 ASUS transformer tablets
    • 1 Samsung S3
    • 2 Galaxy Nexus(In the next week or so)
