Lead / Scribe
- Lead: Dave
- Scribe: Valentina
- Scribe is responsible for:
- adding the action items and takeaways to the current meeting's minutes
- creating the agenda for the next meeting and carrying the action items and takeaways over to it
- sending out a notice of the availability of that agenda along with the meeting invite
- completing all of the above by the end of the week during which the meeting occurred
- Scribe is responsible for:
Last week's action items
- [DONE] [davehunt] Let Justin know we're happy with the bootcamp outline
- [DONE] [davehunt] Set up ZAP meeting to discuss potential early disclosure of vulnerabilities
- [ON TRACK] [stephend] Schedule meetup in September with [davehunt] presenting our new py.test plugins
- I've filed WPR0031377 - next up, post-approval, is to file Air Mozilla + coordinate on Meetup.com
- [CARRY OVER] [stephend] Determine capacity of internal WebPageTest with a view to sharing with webdev
Discussion items
- [rbillings] discuss options for site monitoring as part of QA role. Reference: Continuous delivery, taking on role that was done by Ops
- [rbillings] created new page for evaluating automation tools, listing pros/cons: https://wiki.mozilla.org/QA/Execution/Web_Testing/Automation_tools#List_of_Automation_tools
- [rbillings] while buildmastering I saw a marketplace.dev job failed, I restarted it and it took 3 hours to run. What needs to be done to investigate why the build didn't abort in a timely manner?
- Job #301, duration marked as under 3 mins, job also passed so it wasn't stuck on a failure
- Possibly related: https://github.com/SeleniumHQ/selenium/issues/922
- [stephend] perhaps related to the above? https://webqa-ci.mozilla.com/job/marketplace.stage.saucelabs/413/console took quite a bit longer to finish and report back on the Jenkins side than Sauce Labs (Film at 11!)
- [stephend] I think we should start keeping track (listing -- wiki?) all the big/upcoming infra moves/migrations - discuss!
- [davehunt] Unsupervised projects proposal - please provide feedback
- [stephend] I'll be attending Selenium Conference on September 9th and 10th; please send me anything in particular you'd like me to find out/bring up, etc., there, and I'll try to do so and bring it back to the team
- [stephend] Propose renaming "Testdays and sessions" section in our meeting template to include Meetups/events - thoughts?
- I should actually bring this up when Matt, Krupa, and Bob are back, instead
