  • [Florin] Desktop General status:
    • signing off on Firefox 38 Beta 1 - in progress
      • testing is taking a bit longer than anticipated as there were several issues encountered so far for the new features - will send the final report tomorrow morning
    • possible dot release for 37
    • Firefox 38 feature testing
    • special request from Krupa for testing the new Add-on signing - we're starting to look at it
  • [ioana] Signed off on Firefox 38 Beta 1 yesterday - will go out today as Kevin mentioned ( or postponed with the desktop one?)
  • [ioana] signing off on Firefox 39 Aurora for the updates is in progress - partials results will be send
  • [Florin] Starting today, Mihaela (automation) is leaving the team and is officially replaced by Alexandra Lucinet (manual) who has been helping our team for the past months

Project Updates

  • DOM (ashughes)
    • no updates this week
  • E10S (Tracy)
    • Based on Aurora blocker bug burn down, Fx40 may very well be the train e10s rides to Aurora.
    • Please cross check new features introduced in 37-40 to ensure they are compatible with e10s in Fx40 sometime this cycle.
    • There will be a big add-ons evangelism push.
  • Graphics (ashughes)
    • no updates this week
  • Stability (KaiRo)
    • 37 stability was not where we want it to be but we decided to release despite that.
    • We stopped updates because of a malware-related gfx startup crash though, see https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1149761
    • FennecAndroid stats broken due to split apk uplift
  • YouTube Testing Status Update [marcia]
