Project Status

CrashKill [tomcat/marcia]

• Bugs on file for top Beta 6 crashes
• Bugs on file for top trunk crashes

Accessibility Status Update [marco]

• Breakthrough for FF4: bug 591874 landed, giving backwards compatibility for the commercial JAWS and Window-Eyes screen readers. bug 594413 also is almost ready to land, giving the new versions of these same screen readers better methods to access our APIs. NVDA is already back in shape with bug 592913 which landed before the work week started.
  • Some fall-out crashes from the above checkins are being dealt with. Fortunately the nightly tester coverage is very good on this so we can deal with these crashes swiftly.
• Firefox 3.6.11 is ready from the a11y side. One patch, bug 583952 already landed on the default branch of the 1.9.2 repo before the Chemspill 3.6.10.

• QMO 3.5 - Q4 2010
  • Achievements: explaining achievements, first group of users with achievements (maybe?), promotions (standard testday-level, if not more), top-achievement-users rewards, tying in testdays/bugdays with achievements
  • Teams - Group blogs
  • Wiki for docs: get mozqa team to put in test plans onto docs page, get mozqa emps to create testing howtos and tool docs
  • credits page for wordpress plugins used
• QMO 4.0 - Q1 2011
  • dashboards with bugzilla stats (per user and per team)
  • need list of wanted stats per team, bugzilla e-mail (should be same as qmo e-mail)
  • support for survey-within-blogposts

• Action Item from Work Week: Would like a Roadmap by the end of this month of what we want to go off and accomplish - we could take over the QA staff and the team meeting to get these things solved

  • Did not do a deep discussion of this - there was agreement that we needed wider participation from the rest of the team for this.

  • Encouraged the team to think about more ideas to possibly shoot during the All Hands in December
