Firefox 4 Beta 7 BFTs

In addition to running all the Mozmill BFT automated tests, we'll run BFTs corresponding to areas of high priority using the following BFT test run in Litmus as a guide.

Where there are no related Litmus testcases it is up to the feature owners to test their areas.

• WinXP: Issues can be noted here, such as bugs filed in the area using this platform. Make notes of issues that you encountered but didn't lead to a bug being filed. If you file a bug please add [4b7] in the Whiteboard field.

    • bug 587140 - Tab groups can push other groups across screen boundaries, making them invisible or causing groups to overlap

Switch to Tab

• Win XP: when typing "about" in the location bar, shows Switch to tab "about:blank" instead of "about:home". Switch to tab does not work in Private browsing.
• Win 7 : When typing "about" in the location bar, shows Switch to tab "about:blank" instead of "about:home". Switch to tab does not work in Private browsing.
• Mac (version): When typing "about" in the location bar, shows Switch to tab "about:blank" instead of "about:home". Sync option not working in mac. Switch to tab does not work in Private browsing.
• Linux (version): when typing "about" in the location bar, shows Switch to tab "about:blank" instead of "about:home". Switch to tab does not work in Private browsing. When pressing Down_Arrow in Awesomebar does not show the switch to tab results.

Open Video (WebM/Ogg)

• Win XP: The sound plays for 1 to 2 seconds when mute button is pressed.
  • New Bug :
    • bug 604344 - Speed control button is not working in WebM videos
• Win 7 : The sound plays for 1 to 2 seconds when mute button is pressed.
• Mac (version): No issues found.
• Linux (version): The sound plays for 1 to 2 seconds when mute button is pressed. Speed control button is not working. Webm video in full screen mode plays distorted.

Fullscreen

    • bug 604318 - After installing a persona, going in and out of Full screen mode, does not restore the window properly
