From MozillaWiki
Firefox 40.0b9
- Intermittent compiler crash in win32 build
- Time out cleaning up in update verify
- It's getting really hard to notice these in the wake of the permafailing ui update verify tests, ended up shipping before the rerun completed
Fennec 40.0b10
100% smooth.
Firefox 38.2.0esr
- Updates builder failed because bug 1188014 didn't land before the release started.
- Update verify failed because extra test channel esr rules were not removed
Firefox 40.0
- Lots of intermittent issues:
- Download MARs from stage
- Out of space on windows
- Mac update verify
- Somewhat interconnected update issues:
- Release channel updates builder failed because of fallout from partner-only 38.0.6 builds
- This exposed dependency issues that we normally don't see, where beta channel update verify relies on some parts of the release channel updates builder.
- Beta update verify probably would've failed anyways, due to 39.0 -> 40.0 partials not being specified properly. This was fixed with a manual tweak of the blob.
We should look into a couple of things here:
- Look into whether empty update response are cached bug 1190779
- Figure out how to cope better with multi-channel versions, such as 39.0 -> 40.0.
Build 2 is coming.
