Reps/Council/Meetup March2015
The Council provides the general vision of the program and oversees day-to-day operations globally. Currently, 7 volunteers and 2 paid staff sit on the council. The Peers oversee the Council and provide input and vision on the program in general.
Overview
The Mozilla Reps Council and Peers will meet for 2 days to solidify plans for 2015 and re-calibrate the vision and goals of Reps. Traditionally billed as Council meetings, these bi-yearly sessions are designed to get the project leaders together to work on planning and strategy for the program. The program has made a huge impact, but to ensure continued impact we have to continually assess the program to make improvements and work on future strategy.
The items we will be focusing on during the meetup can be grouped into four main categories: structure, learning and development, visibility, and tools. Wrapped around all of these is the organizational goal of 1 Million Mozillians one of our main tasks will be to determine how we position the program to help reach this.

Getting Here
Bus from Charles de Gaulle
From Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) you can take the RoissyBus for 10.5 Euros to get downtown, about a ten minute walk from the office. It departs from Terminals 1 and 2; buy your tickets just before the doors outside. The bus is non-stop from CDG to downtown and stops near Palais Garnier. From there you can walk to the office or many hotels nearby.
The best option is to just walk from the bus stop to the hotel. It is only 10 mins and straightforward. The bus stop is at Rue Scribe, there is only 1 stop. Here is the map of the route from the bus stop to the hotel:
You can pre-load the map on your phone, or you should be able to get online at the airport. More details on RoissyBus:

The latter has a link to a PDF that shows the pickup and drop-off points at the airport. You can also ask for 'RoissyBus' at Information points in the airport.
Metro from Gare du Nord
If you come into Paris at the Gare du Nord you can take:
- Metro line #4 (pink line) in the direction of Porte d'Orleans, change after two stops at Strasbourg St Denis.
- then Metro line #8 (purple line) in the direction of Balard to Grands Boulevards.
The Grands Boulevard Metro is on the same road as the Office. You can buy a Metro ticket from automated machines at all metro stops. You just need a regular Billet. The price is 1.70Eur and is valid in all directions for one Journey. This journey I gave you takes about 10 - 15 mins start to finish. You can pick up a map of Paris on the Eurostar itself.
Alternatively, you can walk from Gare du Nord in about 20-25 minutes. This may be easier since it doesn't involve carrying suitcases up and down stairs (in the Metro). You'll want to look at a map beforehand, and likely have it with you.
Metro
From the metro, use one of the following two stations:
- Grands Boulevards: Follow the signs to exit 2 (boulevard Montmartre). After you reach the top of the stairs, to reach the office continue straight ahead until you reach a large doorway with the number 16BIS over it, just after the Pret a Manger.
- Richelieu-Drouot: This station does not have numbered exits. Follow the signs for exits (signs with "SORTIE", with white letters on a blue background) to the exit for "RUE DROUOT". At the top of these stairs, continue straight ahead and immediately cross Rue Drouot (the smaller of the two streets at the intersection), and to reach the office continue straight ahead until you find a large doorway with the number 16BIS over it, just before the Pret a Manger.
