Deployment Requests

• Deploy server-whoami to staging environment to support Sync. Work is in progress.
• Deploy trial sync-storage nodes to AWS. Work is in progress.

Hardware, Projects & Other

• 80 replacement refurbed drives from an RMA are in transit to PHX1 for Sync and should arrive next week.
• 120 drives from SCL2, that appear healthy from SMART data, are enroute to PHX1 for Sync and should arrive next week.
• Sync in PHX1 is operating currently on 36 of 63 DBs.

Engineering

Metrics (benbangert/rmiller/vng/trink)

Heka

• Found and investigated back-pressure related slowness due to log file parsing, exploratory coding re: resolution.
• Lots of release engineering (builds, docs, website access, branch juggling, etc).
• Lots of work bringing heka-py and heka-node current to work w/ latest Heka protocol.
• Initial investigation of static linking of cgo linked code so we can get rid of the shared library.
• Added initial dashboard infrastructure for reports and graphs.
• Added more data to Heka's internal report and integrated it into dashboard.
• Added circular buffer library for Lua plugins and dashboard integration for graphing time series data.
• Bug fixes.

SimplePush (jr)

• Continuing work on go server
• Investigating scaling options

EU team (alexis, hannosch, tarek)

• ongoing work for the location service see - https://wiki.mozilla.org/Services/Location - we have weeklies now on Wednesday for this project

QA

• Work is being done in AWS to help rectify the problem with DBs affecting users ability to sync.
• Deployment tickets have been opened to test rfkelly's code in the Stage environment.

Persona/SignIn/BigTent (jrgm)

• Work Week is next week in Vancouver office.
• Deployments continue towards the AWS migration of the Stage environment. Planned for 5/13
• HotFix work is being done for BigTent (Yahoo support).
• B2G fork is merging onto mainline browserID actively

PiCL (jbonacci)

• Work Week is next week in Vancouver office.
• Work continues to develop QA plan for PiCL.
