Take a minute to answer a new user's question, provide a helpful pointer or just say something nice about how great it is they want to help.
Hang out in an IRC channel devoted to answering questions from new community members and spend a couple minutes responding to people. The [irc://irc.mozilla.org/introduction #introduction channel] has been set up for helping people interested in development. Add a link to max's blog post and copy quotes about being helpful, nicechannels for other project areas here or start a new one today.
