I've used Eudora (Lite) for the last ten years and I have one suggestion that, by far, tops my priority list. I love the way I can sort my mail into categories and subcategories and I hope nothing will be done to make it more difficult to use them - but what I'd dearly like to see is a way to copy ALL the letters in a category (and, if possible, make a provision to be able to only copy certain specific letters without necessarily having to open them) into a text file or subfile that can be separate from Eudora, but that, in future, be possibly reincorporated into Eudora if desired. This/these external Eudora files need not be able to be read in the usual Eudora format, but merely as text files, both externally and when reincorporated into Eudora (unless it's not too difficult to program this externalized email into the Eudora format, but I imagine it might be).

There have been three times now that I have had to change computers, and have coincidently upgraded versions of Eudora, and therefore have, in effect, lost my Eudora email. Some of those messages were/are important to me.

With a file such as the one suggested above in operation, email subfiles could be created, just as they are now, but in their own category/subcategory. Along with the normal subcategories denoting subject matter, icons or some other device(s) could be used to indicate importance of a message, and perhaps a footnote or some such could be added (automatically or by hand) to messages that a person deems of special specific interest or relevance.

Then, when a person upgrades computers and/or Eudora, these externalized text files could at that time be re-added to Eudora and kept viewable until no longer needed.

My suggestion is regarding saving files in attach or embed folder. All attachments or embed files should be saved in a sub folder having name exactly same as mailbox of the mail. This will help in achieving, moving only required emails and related attachments. At this moment my eudora have a mailbox called "Resumes" and I wanted to move all attachments of the emails from this mail box but I do not see any option to do that.
